Barossa Valley & Hahndorf Wine Tour $119
Barossa Valley & Hahndorf Wine Tour Itinerary
Taking in the patchwork of rolling hills, lush vineyards, and eclectic mix of German heritage, our Barossa Valley & Hahndorf Wine Tour is the ideal way to explore this beautiful part of Australia. Characterized by fairy tale orchards, wild bushland, and charming villages, the Barossa Valley forms the perfect backdrop for tasting some of the country’s best-loved wines and tucking into some delicious, local food.
Our Barossa Valley & Hahndorf Wine Tour gives you the chance to get to know Hahndorf an old Bavarian-influenced village that dates back to the 19th century German occupation. When you’re not wine tasting or trying fresh dishes, you can wander through the historic streets of this enchanting town.
We’ll start by discovering the impressive mansions and homesteads of North Adelaide before travelling to the beautiful Seppeltsfield Estate, with its sprawling vineyards and peaceful backdrop, before arriving in the Barossa Valley. On the way, we’ll stop off at the Seppeltsfield Winery, where you can sample a collection of Ports that date back 100 years, and other world-famous wines.
Afterwards, it’s on to Wolf Blass winery one of the best-known wine brands on the planet. Take a guided tour of Wolf Blass and learn about the process behind creating top-notch tipples. You’ll also be able to indulge in a tutored wine tasting session here, and discover what makes the wines of this region so exquisite. Next we enjoy a delicious two course lunch with an exclusive Penfolds wine tasting.
Then we’ll head to Hahndorf, the oldest German settlement in Australia, which is filled with leafy roads lined by Elm Trees, picturesque cottages, and plenty of artisan shops and galleries to explore. There’ll be time to do a bit of souvenir shopping here, and you can grab a coffee before we head back through Adelaide Hills’ beautiful villages, Crafers, Stirling, Aldgate, and Bridgewater.
We end up back in Adelaide, where your wine-tasting extravaganza in the Barossa Valley comes to an end.
