History of Seppeltsfield Road
What made Seppeltsfield Road so picturesque is the 5-kilometre trail of beautiful Canary Island date palms. During the Great Depression, Seppeltsfield workers planted palm trees. With over 200 palms lined on either side of the road, it is worth the visit or at least a drive down the road.
How to get there
To see the iconic palm tree-lined road, it is about an hour’s drive from the city and is best to travel by car. Other options are tours, bike hires, or taxis which you can also use to get around the area.
