Stop by wineries, picturesque roads, and explore the Barossa for some of the best Instagrammable locations.
The Barossa Valley is located about an hour’s drive from Adelaide. Make your way through the valley and see the rolling hills of vineyards, filled with wineries, great food, and stunning locations.
1. Lyndoch Lavender Farm
The beautiful Lyndoch Lavender Farm, do we need to say more? The Lavender Farm is an award winning Barossa Valley attraction, having welcomed visitors for over 30 years.
The family-owned farm is a beautiful spot to visit to snap some photos for your Instagram. For the best shots, be sure to visit during peak time when the lavender blooms at the start of spring.

2. Chateau Tanunda
Known as an icon of the Barossa, Chateau Tanunda is a stunning winery. The building itself is magnificent and boasts some of the first vines planted in the Barossa! Take a walk around and capture some photos of the surrounding landscapes, the vines, and of course, the iconic building.
3. Mengler Hill Lookout
A popular scenic spot nestled in the Barossa Valley, Mengler Hill Lookout overlooks the beautiful landscape. From here, you’ll have a panoramic view of the vineyards and the Barossa Sculpture Park below.
4. Seppeltsfield Road
The famous palm tree lined road, Seppeltsfield Road, is easily the most Instagrammable spot in the Barossa. It’s best to drive down this road, but of course, park the car and snap a photo of the road of the palm trees with the vineyards in the background.
5. Barossa Chateau
The Barossa Chateau is a beautiful spot, known for its cellar door and cafe. It’s also a stunning building where weddings often take place, creating beautiful photos and memories for the couple and guests. Grab a few photos of the building, vineyard, and even the beautiful rose garden.
